KageXCore Posted March 11, 2007 Author Report Posted March 11, 2007 Thanks. It would not let me connect to any zones. It says that I was not connected to the Internet.
KageXCore Posted March 12, 2007 Author Report Posted March 12, 2007 Search SSDL for continuum.I have the v1.34 but it says I cannot connect to the server, any of them for example Extreme Games and that I should check my internet connection
»D1st0rt Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 You need to use Continuum 0.38 or higher these days, the Subspace client is no longer able to connect to most zones
KageXCore Posted March 12, 2007 Author Report Posted March 12, 2007 You need to use Continuum 0.38 or higher these days, the Subspace client is no longer able to connect to most zones Well It wont let me make a zone in Continuum 0.38it says I need v1.34 of Subspace to make my own zone. Now what?
KageXCore Posted March 12, 2007 Author Report Posted March 12, 2007 That would be Subgame, not Subspace Ok SubGame but that doesnt answer the question....
L.C. Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 (edited) Ah so you want to run a zone of your own, eh? Download this and install it.http://www.jackpotsvs.com/files/ServerKit-Full.exe * Once you have installed it, the first thing you should do is add your playername into sysop.txt. * Second thing to do is that if you want to make sure zone publically display in the zone listing, open up your server.ini file and go to the very bottom of the file.Under [Directory], find IP=127.0.0.1,localhost.Change IP=127.0.0.1,localhost to IP=127.0.0.1,localhost,sscentral.sscuservers.net.Save the file and close it. * You will probably want to add your zone to your own Continuum list.To do this, launch Continuum and click the Zones button.Click on Add Custom and use the following information...Zone Name: Development ZoneIP: 127.0.0.1Port: 27015Add it to your list and return to your Continuum menu or close Continuum. * First launch ssbilling2.exe, then launch subgame2.exe. * Wait a few moments and check to see if Development Zone will turn green in your zone list in Continuum.
