Samapico Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 Fixed error appearing when cancelling OpenMap dialogFixed bug in SelectTiles, SelectAllTiles, and other actions in the Selection menu
Hakaku Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 Run-time error '429'ActiveX component can't create object I get this message after the I close the tips window. After that, I click ok, but DCME won't respond anymore. This never happened in previous versions, but this time I set DCME to check for updates upon loading right before installing this update. Maybe that affected it? I don't really think this helps, but I'll post it anyways:3/12/2007 7:05:03 PM --- Drake Continuum Map Editor (v3.1.2) starting... +++ OtherInstance 0 +++ openedMapByArgs False Un!@#$%^&*led 1 @ NewMap, path = '' usingDefaultTileset True Un!@#$%^&*led 1 @ NewMap, DefaultWalltiles = Un!@#$%^&*led 1 @ NewMap, DefaultTileset = Un!@#$%^&*led 1 @ InitTileset, tilesetpath= Default usingDefaultTileset True +++ Last update: 12-03-2007 - Update period: 0 +++ Searching for updates at http://www.dcme.sscentral.com/autoupdate/dcmeupdate.txt...
Yavaris Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 Same problem here, dies on startup (3.1.2)
Witchie NL Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 I dont have this problem with 3.1.02It just saves weather i creat a new map or edit an excisting one.
Yavaris Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 Ok, it worked yesterday, then this morning I had the Runtime error on startup, so I went back to 3.1.0. Just tried 3.1.2 again and now it works again. Wacky software...
Samapico Posted March 12, 2007 Author Report Posted March 12, 2007 the problem seems to happen when loading 'check for updates' form... if you set dcme to check every week or something... and do 'check for updates' manually, do you still get the error? I did change some small things... like... changes that are not completed yet, but it still worked fine for meIf it's just 3.1.2 that gives you problems, just switch back to 3.1.1 for now and... well... I'll take a look into this later... probably next weekend
Hakaku Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 I also noticed that DCME ~.02, after getting that error and closing the program, the program is still running if you look in Windows Task Manager. Anyhow, I went back to ~.01 which works fine.
