Samapico Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 I have this leet defense weapon... it costs 2,000,000 to buy... it has 20,000 pointsIt costs 2000 / pts to repair... Suppose it was broken.... 0/20000 ... it would cost me 4,000,000 to repair it... that makes no sense... It's actually better to just keep it till it dies then to repair it Also... items price shouldn't be all the same... at the moment they ALL cost 1$ / 100pts...So this means buying 1000 sucky weapons is the same as buying 1 stronger... same price, same points... Bigger weapons should be a better $/pts ratio... like the default items had.

Aileron Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Actually, ignore Sama and just say no to messing with the weapons, atleast until the next reset. Regardless, the last time you tried it people lost weapons. Weak weapons have other disavantages as well. For instance, they break sooner. Besides, I actually like having a choice in which weapons I want to get rather than being forced to buy the best weapon.
Samapico Posted March 10, 2007 Author Report Posted March 10, 2007 Hmm... I doubt 100 weapons of 1000 points would break sooner than 1 weapon of 100000 points... You receive X damage to your weapons, and it is splitted between all of them...And if you consider the repair price of each item, cheapest weapons are the best... Only thing is you probably can't have more weapons than you have trained soldiers But yeah that can wait 'til next reset
