»D1st0rt Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 you can use Tor without going through that website btw

Swift Warrior Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 if it works for you, then your lucky and your school filter sucks. NONE of them work for me and i basically gave up trying to byp!@#$%^&* the filter, all proxy sites are blocked
nikegurl637 Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 PS: WHY WOULD WE WANT TO GET ONTO A COMPUTER AT YOUR SCHOOL
rootbear75 Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 (edited) ITS NOT A PROXY SITEITS A PROGRAM THAT USES THE TOR NETWORK geezus EDIT: if your school has blocked it, download it onto a USB thumb drive then take it into school... it was what i did.. Edited March 9, 2007 by rootbear75

JoWie Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 (edited) set up a web proxy server at home with SSLÂ Or use tor Edited March 13, 2007 by JoWie
Bankotsu Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 a good proxy server that i used the most is https://wujie.netanother good one is https://vtunnel.comand https://kproxy.com those all work and cannot be blocked
»D1st0rt Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 What, are schools not allowed to block SSL?
*rc 1223* Posted March 14, 2007 Author Report Posted March 14, 2007 schools block almost every single sight except learning sites lol only a few proxies actually work
Swift Warrior Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 none of those work, get a cannot load page error and not a filter error
James1293 Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 (edited) Another site... https://stupidcensorship.com For all of these "https" sites, make sure that you type it with the https:dont type www.stupidcensorship.com As for PLAYING continuum at school, just have to download it onto a flash drive, floppy disc, etc:find the continuum program files in your drive C on your computer, and copy the whole folder onto the flash drive or whatever you use. then u can run it off the flash drive. JoWie Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 What, are schools not allowed to block SSL?They cant view the data. China's great firewall for example looks for keywords in the data and terminates the connection when one is found.
»D1st0rt Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 The way my high school's connection worked is that it filtered the outgoing requests so if there was a name on the blocked list, it went to a different page
Swift Warrior Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 still doesnt work, IE cant find the site
Deathboy-evil Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Didn't really read much of this but I did see the last post, if IE don't work try Mozilla Firefox.
