I had more troops than him when I quit blum.gif

He also plays the game more than anyone else, and has had some key victories. He makes in one day what it would take some of you a week to earn in money.

but with him growing so fast, and everyone else growing so slow, he either has to stop upgrading soldier production, or noone will be able to play with him for a while. Even if he stops upping production, he'll still be making way too many troops, and by the time any of you get up to a level where you can fight him, he'll have put so much money into all of his stuff that he'll be invincible.

So I wouldn't even worry about ail. So if you're thrid consider yourself 2nd.

Point being...I started after you did Sama.

Maybe after I 'signed in' ... but not after I actually started playing

how can you know when I started anyway?

Well, in the game I was used to, when somebody got attacked so much that he or she can't get attacked anymore, their account is shut down for a few hours during which time they can't attack and have limited income.

Its usually unprofitable for the attacker, so its only reserved for the most mean and nasty situations. As I said, in the past couple hours I had to do it twice, which cost me enough money that you could move up past me.

Oh, it works. You are lucky...I did phase out Syrus and Deathboy. The cap exists...though after phasing him our Deathboy attacked me, so I don't know to what extent it works.

The art of not sleeping takes training to master. I had a boss one time...he routinely goes three days without sleep and worked at three different jobs...and does them all quite effectively without any signs of sleep depravation. He drinks so many energy drinks I swear when he gets cut he bleeds Red Bull.

The secret is to take mini-naps while you are blinking.

i really can't attack ANYONE now, it really sucks... it complains of army size... hey, we should atleast be able to attack people with LARGER army than yours... I understand that you can't attack smaller armies, but why not allow to attack larger armies? or atleast make the setting less strict

You shouldn't be able to attack people with a larger army size simply because they can't attack you. Suppose a small player happens to have better stats than a large player. Then, the small player would be able to attack the large one over and over and the large one would be able to do nothing about it.

That being said, it should be based on rank, not size.

Additionally, recon shouldn't be as risky as it is. If your covert is higher than their sentry, recon should be safe to do. If your covert is barely over their sentry, it should mean a poor report with a lot of holes, not a loss of troops.

And sabotage is off too. It should be an alternative to attacking someone. There shouldn't be any random componant in the calculations. In the system I am used to, they balanced out sabotage nicely by having special "covert turns". Each sab used 3 turns and the overall turn cap was 50. That way, if you could sab someone, it didn't mean the destruction of their entire armory. Also, they removed the option to target specific weapons. Instead the spies did max damage and started with the weakest weapons and moved their way up...thus a player with poor sentry could protect his heaven helms by buying a lot of daggers.

Doing all that is difficult, so what should be done here is simple:

Remove the spontaneous random failure from the sabotage calculations.

Make every sabotage attempt cost 20 turns.

Apply the same size limits to sabotage as is applied to attack.

Post the formula. Yes, there will be minimalists. Those people will save themselves about 20 spies per sab. However, without it no one is willing to attempt sabotage because it fails so !@#$%^&* often.

And one more suggestion: How about a "bank all" button so that if you are active and watching the countdown that you can bank your gold before somebody can attack you in the split second it takes to type the number in?

Btw Ducky, welcome to Phasedville. Population: 3.
