Ok, it's 3 am but I'm realizing that all the music I have on my computer is starting to bore me, so I need some suggestions on new music that's good. My tastes vary, but mostly acoustic and rock. So...any suggestions? Here's what I currently have in my library http://www.joesweird.com/playlist.html which should give you somewhat of an idea of what I listen to.

I never got much into AudioA, although I probably should. That track came off In The Name of Love - Artists United for Africa. It's a cd of U2 songs covered by Christian artists. Some of them are quite good, others...not so good.

Arctic Monkeys and Gorillaz I never really got into. Green Day's latest album was pretty good, I might go find that. Never heard of Ladyhawk, Metric or The Appleseed Cast, so I might find some of them too. And The Offspring haven't done anything decent since 98 :\ Sucks too because I liked them back then.

Or try my radio blum.gif Critex Radio

Quite new, and only just starting up but the music when I'm presenting is kick !@#$%^&*... I tend to vary the music, from oasis to rhcp to arctic monkeys to eminem... A bit of everything really :(

My partner in owning it, Nameer, tends to play more gangster/black orientated music... But there's still a good mix of other stuff, for example now he's playing The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony...

And as for your playlist, someone mentioned it above... Get some Arctic Monkeys! They are !@#$%^&*ing sweet!

Also Kaiser Chiefs are decent, especially there latest song, Ruby. And you can't beat a bit of The Fray

Isis - In the Absence of Truth has been getting really good reviews, I picked it up a couple days ago but haven't gotten a chance to finish the whole album - it's pretty post-rock / atmospheric-rock influenced, but really quite pleasant. Melodic cacophany smile.gif.

Just some suggestions, if you liked Breaking Benjamin's Phobia album, you might like Porcupine Tree - In Absentia.

The half of the Scarface soundtrack (1983 movie) with lyrics, I'm an !@#$%^&*hole by dennis leary (I use this while buzzing the military base in a P51 or the VTOL in san andreas), if you're in a cloaked ship - rockwell's somebodys watching me, strutter by kiss, if you're on a mad basing dash in one of the CTF zones and the odds are next to impossible but you think you can take the base - dare by stan bush.
