I'll add modifications, update some graphics, add/delete forums, move stuff around, just normal maintenance and clean up. I never really give a heads up of what is being done, or an overview of what was done, so I figure why not this time. February 22nd * Cleaned up old bans, and added a few new ones * Moved 1month+ old topics from Spamstation Central to General Discussion and closed them. * Fixed odd output on Zone Forum Staff in the memberlist * Added "Members Online Today" to Board Statistics * Finished adding Paintball to the forums * Cleaned up Permission Masks [ More an admin thing '] * Cleaned up Technical Support Forum * Removed Arcade for fresh install/upgrade tomorrow with Battle/Army System * Finding out what status is on SSCentral and Squad Central designs * Moved Site Forums under Subspace Network forum * Added Forum for SSCentral.com and SquadCentral.com * Moved Development Forums to Index, hopefully promoting more activity for them * Other Things I've Forgotten, or only Admin Specific February 23rd * Install IBProArcade * Install IBProBattle [ Army System ] * Install IPBSpeak - Shoutbox like area where spam will live * Possibly install a Banking/Points system * Possibly Add New Moderators to Unmoderated Forums, and another 1 to General Discussion to work with SD>Big * Find out WTH Bajan and SOS are, especially SOS... !@#$%^&* Lazy Admins * Hit up all Zone Forum Admins, and Discuss some issues/ideas I have * Maybe look into having a skin designed for Forum Central * Other Stuff that Comes UpInvision just released 2.2.2 w/components, may want to upgrade. IPSpeak/shoutbox...I've never liked shoutboxes. They take up too much room and are a haven for spam, and serve no real purpose. I wouldn't worry about a custom skin for the forums until a design is finalized for sscentral.com. Once that's done, you can incorporate the main site's design into the skin. About the ISG, I'd be willing to take over maintence to accomadate all zones who would like their sites advertised in it. I feel that like the banner exchange, the ISG should also be used to spread the word about lesser known zones. Just because a zone isn't linked to the ssc biller doesn't mean it should be ignored.

The Shoutbox is a whole seperate en!@#$%^&*y, like the arcade. It won't be seen on the index. The Skin, of course, but I just need to find someone who will be able to do so. That is my main priority there. ISG... At the moment, it is kind of a mess. I was working on an admin script for it, but then I found that IPB gives the CSS it uses issues. So not sure what to do quite yet with condensing it/making it easier to update. I just haven't put any focus on it, as SSCentral itself is the focus. The ISG was just something to accommodate the removal of all the forum redirects, giving people somewhere else to click to get to all the websites they need.

»1587200 Posted February 23, 2007 Author Report Posted February 23, 2007 Download the 2.2.2, upload everything in the upload folder, and run the index.php in the upgrade folder. Since there are no longer any mods installed on the board (arcade) you can start with a fresh copy of everything and the upgrade script will upgrade the db and files with the fixes.
