Nokia Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 Or The Abyss, or any of those other zones from the good old days. what happend to "a small warzone". they forced the .39 pre-release and then nobody played there anymore? after about 2 years of not playing i now have a comp with windoz installed in this house and decided to dl ss and see how many of my old homies are still playing. most of em moved on to bigger and better things i would run a ss zone but my server runs linux, ASSS is a pain in the ASSS to set up and my 384k of upload is nearly always saturated with other stuff. maybe some day i will bring back Terminal Force for the laugh, i think i still have thefiles somewhere *ASSS Userguide

XDOOM Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 SSCB Devastation (soon to be SSCI Devastation) is still up .... and Devastation was pre-abyss and pre-rage wars (at least I'm pretty sure it was) (Altec was actually a devastation smod before he created Abyss). And SSCB Devastation had been very successfull in brining back old players, and brining in new players ... we hit 12-18 people a night, usually for several hours at a time. Now, some people will say that 12-18 people is not a lot of people, well, I consider it a pretty decent success. Devastation is also moving to ASSS within the next week when we move to SSCI. So come play in Deva A nice, small, older zone with friendly staff and players. Give SSCJ Devastation a try ... you'll like it.
