Samapico Posted February 24, 2007 Author Report Posted February 24, 2007 the lvz beta should point to the new update server on dcme.sscentral.com and say 2.5.0 ... the file there is the first lvzbeta i released though, so don't get it A kb/s label would be cool aswell.Done Quote
L.C. Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 I do not like the interface. It's confusing and messy. It takes too much time to just add one image (nobody should even deserve to go through such time constraint!), and I still cannot figure it out. It is kind of annoying having to continously switch back and forth between tabs (that is not pleasant to my eyes), and with the tree things also minimized. By the way, click on the LVZ icon on the left sidebar, play with it, then close the popup. The LVZ icon will appear to be still selected. DCME easily crashes through MapObjects. Quote
Samapico Posted February 24, 2007 Author Report Posted February 24, 2007 hmm perhaps some kind of 'quick add' could add the file to lvz, create a new image definition with that file, and add a mapobject using that image definition yeah that could be good (kind of what CLT does, actually)one of the problem with having only that option, however, is that having multiple image definitions for a single file (like different animation speed) would emmm.... oh well there's an easy way around that... mhm currently making some 'click everywhere' tests... its quite easy to make it crash yes =/ ... fixing alot of bugs now hehe First release with LVZ will focus on functionality for now... then we'll add things to make it easier to use Quote
Samapico Posted February 25, 2007 Author Report Posted February 25, 2007 Updated first post with 2.5.4 Quote
Witchie NL Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 This is looking neat so far Quote

Well if added you can drag and drop files to the specified lvz's Quote

Samapico Posted February 25, 2007 Author Report Posted February 25, 2007 just noticed ur new sig pic drake ew... still at version 1.2.9 on mgb forums lol... Quote
Samapico Posted February 25, 2007 Author Report Posted February 25, 2007 Finally got screenobject stuff to work... actually it was screenobject X/Y and typeX / typeY , but also displaytime and displaymode of both mapobjects and screenobjects that were set wrong when exporting a bit more testing and the release is off Quote
Samapico Posted February 25, 2007 Author Report Posted February 25, 2007 just fixed: lvz now show up during map testing done: map testing disables grid by default, without affecting previous grid state... it can be re-enabled if needed too done: loaded map's autosaves can be accessed through File -> Open Autosave done: add file allows multiple files at once Quote
Samapico Posted February 25, 2007 Author Report Posted February 25, 2007 Updated attached versionAs far as I know, this version is stable... unless you guys find something, we'll put that version up tomorrow, or as soon as Drake has time to put it up on his webspace. After this update, auto-updates information and files will be on dcme.sscentral.com... this change should be transparent to users though Quote
Witchie NL Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 Heh i think you forgot 1 large item.Autobackground tiler which makes you define an image and click autotile. You coud make an extra tab saying "Autotile BG" for this. Also make it able to add multiple files by pressing ctrl+click coz i need make graphic LVZ's with 20+ files in it.Takes long to add them seperately. ATM you can select multiple files but when you click "ok" it doesnt add them in the LVZFile list. Quote
Witchie NL Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 Create a new LVZ. Goto images tab. Click "new image" and then select it and click "Remove image" crashes DCME "Runtime error '9', subscript out of range". :S Quote
