You could atleast elaborately explain and describe the when, the where, and the how to the "more smooth and less buggy." If by "less buggy" you refer to that SSME problem of yours, then... *someone else can fill in this blank*

and dcme is in constant development, so it will probably always have new small bugs related to the newest features... like eLVL had some bugs... and the LVZ feature of upcoming 3.0 will surely have lots of bugs...

of course SSME isnt that buggy (it does have bugs), it can't do crap...

without features, its easy to be "smooth" and "not-too-buggy"

Take selection for example... one thing that slows DCME right now is the selection, because it can do so much more than SSME (and all other editors, as far as i know). The 'non-rectangular' selection, transparent or under-tiles selection, drawing in selection, etc.

If you want something fast, you could use any DCME before 1.2, which has a ssme-like selection... even then I think it was still slower anyway, we boosted it up alot since then...

And it's clear that you're pretty new to DCME... before 2.0, we were releasing like... an update per week. Release of 2.0 took longer because it featured eLVL, which took quite some time to code. Same for 3.0, with LVZ. After these big updates, most likely there will be frequent updates of every small bug we (or you guys) find. Also, we'll move the auto-update server to dcme.sscentral.com, which means both me and drake will be able to upload updates... for now, only Drake can upload updates for auto-update.

So just set your auto-update option to Every Day and be patient smile.gif
