But Crea says that he is working on an alternative gameplay for less people and i think he said something about switching some setts. So sit tight i guess. Hakaku Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 The Complex didn't try much to promote the zone, and when I first tried it all the bots were dead and there was like 8 people in spec (ok, 4 bots, 2 mods, and 2 players in spec)... And the website which was promoted still isn't online. At the exception of bots now working, the rest is still as it was when it opened. Also, the 17th-ish appeal just shows that The Complex still can't break its umbilical cord. Being hasty is bad. Edit: and the periodic message tells me to read F1 to "make myself known to the Gameplay and its features"... CreatiX Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 Actually im pretty happy about the situation. Manus finished the new setts and i just tested em, i reallly like them. The problem (as mentioned b4) is that the current skirmish mode for less than 5v5 just is no fun, means we cant keep 2 players playing so theres even the chance to get a 5v5 or more (which is what makes the gameplay fun). Therfor the skirmish-mode has to be changed. Summarize: The only reason why nothing is going on yet is because the new skirmish mode isnt done yet. If id be good at c++ id do it on my own and it would be done already, but i dont . Howsoever, we're gonna do alot of advertising etc again as soon as the updates are done.Dont worry, were not dead, we just havent really started/tried yet.
