Evil Doom Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 i just got msg in hs while i was doing things "You are being specced due to inactivity." i was in safe.... and i know being in safe for awhile put you in spec.... How about a timer for how long you can stay in safe... maybe on the top right corner or above radar... I think it's a good isea ... that way i we know long b4 we get specced!
Deathboy-evil Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I'd disagree. Too many people would take advantage of it in situations where their teammates need them most. Example: Basing. Either way this hardly matter's to me but this is just a disadvantage of it... even though there's a few other advantages to it... anyways right now we have to worry about bigger things..
Evil Doom Posted February 7, 2007 Author Report Posted February 7, 2007 i guess... but a few people have come to me saying either safe shouldn't spec you for being afk or there should be a timer for how much longer b4 you get specced
Deathboy-evil Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 If your going to be afk, than you might as well be a spectator. That's what happens when you go afk for long periods of time.
Dr Brain Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 If you're sitting for that long in a safe, you should be specced. The theory is that if you're not moving, you're afk. If you're not afk (and could therefore read a timer) just move around and you won't get specced.
Evil Doom Posted February 9, 2007 Author Report Posted February 9, 2007 i guess... now i know how to answer if someone asks the question
11___________ Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I can goto the bathroom, pick up dog poo, and stare at my computor for at least 5 seconds before i am specced. I sometimes do homework inbetween deaths, and then sit in safe for a little.
Deathboy-evil Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Anyways this has been handled. We don't need a timer, and even still it's beyond our main and most important priorities at the moment.
