JoWie Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 A way to get around dns blacklisting, does not work if they block the IPs: http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=en|en&u=forums.sscentral.comI am not 100% sure this works, but it may be worth trying.
NBVegita Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 it works for any non-secure pages, IE no https.

Sharpflame Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 My school is evil, they even block https://www.vtunnel.com ...which i reccomend trying if u havent yet. Im going to try all of these i see on this page. Our school even blocks most of search engines (e.g. images, certain strings like GAMES or FUN[yes, the school is anti-fun ]) btw, restart the computer every time ur class is over,it resets all history files and such so chances of them blocking ur proxy website are less.
»Maverick Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 btw, restart the computer every time ur class is over,it resets all history files and such so chances of them blocking ur proxy website are less.Restarting your computer wont' reset your history files unless there is a custom script that runs on a computer startup.Furthermore, history files won't affect the behaviour of a proxy server whatsoever.
jacob hunter! Posted February 21, 2007 Author Report Posted February 21, 2007 And on top of all this...... half the school has mac os x with safari internet browser. this what I also get when I enter in a proxy site. Safari can’t open the page “http://www.fsurf.com/”. The error was: “lost network connection” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005) Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.
