Ok, I got a field this morning cuz i had cash to burn. I was surprised and disappointed. :(

 

ok,what i liked was that its a whole new weapon and can be on any ship. that was about it.

 

I hated how:

 

-Only one field can be held at a time

-Fields are expensive

-You have to go all the way to the trading post for one field

 

I suggest:

 

-Make field max quanity higher,at least just abit.

-Make each cost at least half than what they do now (1k) maybe $700 would be reasonable.

-Let fields themselves availible at any store

 

(I just remembered i did not try to go to a center store for a field so correct me if im wrong blum.gif )

 

I just think an item like this is under-used and i would hate for a feature in hs to be neglected :o (or to be abused)

I think all that's really necessary is increasing the maximum amount of fields that can be held, but limiting fields to one drop per life (or perhaps one drop per interval of time, say once every 2 minutes)

 

Previously, I have seen fields being used relatively commonly, and I think the reason we haven't been seeing them recently is because they don't compare to spamming reps/bricks in bases. So I think that if we fix the reshipping problem, fields (among other things) will be used more often.

being able to hold more than 1 field isn't a great idea. They can get really, really annoying in bases. So if you get someone dropping 2-3 fields in a base well...that's all she wrote.

i think you should be able to hold 3 fields at a time... but you can only use one every 5 minutes .... but that's me

 

that way it cant be spammed

That would make me happy, they are seemingly useless when u have to go far away just to get one...

I think it should be kept the way it is. If anything should be changed it should be that you can use antideath with field's but everything else is specifically the way it is for a reason. $1000. That's not expensive for anyone. To go back and forth to the trading purpose was implemented also for another reason... and only one field at a time was also implemented for another reason. (Holding more than 1 field is too overpowered in basing)
