I got this window when i tried to enter the zone. Invalid password for the specified user. The name you entered may be already in use or by another player, in which case you should try another name. Otherwise check your password. You may have made a mistake entering it.

 

I did not change it. I last played the zone an hour ago when the flags and cage bricks finally worked. I logged on successfully, and now i can't. HELP!

it would help if people told me to type passwd:(password)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMFG if i was told that anytime in 2 months i would still have 500k plus!!!

The moderator's are sitting there telling people to password protect their account with a local password using ?passwd=(your password) and as well their receiving screenshots, taking screenshots, gathering information etc about the hackers and those who have been takening people's accounts. Trust me on this one thing. Everyone who's been screwing with the zone, whether it's been taking over people's accounts or taking their money or even hacking with programs.. etc. They all will suffer the concequences. The instant the biller is up, lots of them won't be seen for a LONG while.

The biller is the magic carrot used to promise HS players a bright and rosy future. It also seconds as an excuse of doing a poor job.

 

- We have poor security because we are not on the biller

- We don't implement feature X because we are not on the biller

- When we get back on the biller, everyone will be in subspace paradise and HS will put TW and EG out of business

i better warn you now furret, since hs is not on a biller it does not password protect accounts by default. the password you put in your profile does nothing.

 

however, you can set a password by using ?passwd

why not just use the public biller for now....Not like its hard to switch to SSC when u want to and at least it would stop all this name stealing business.

Also would be much easier to ban the hackers on a biller.

 

You could even download and use my java biller if you wanted to just to secure things. the only thing its missing is chats.

Because a public biller would achieve no more than ?passwd already does. Existing names in the DB don't get protected.

however it would prevent people needing to type ?passwd. Alot of people don't know this.
