Are you trying to run Continuum through the "Run As..." option? If yes; don't!

Try getting Continuum to run the normal way. (Continuum is probably being blocked by anti-virus/anti-spyware software.)

  1. Question: is it your computer?
If Yes: You should be a member of the admin group, but since you cant "write" the folder, it looks like you arent... parents made you a user instead of an admin, go to #2No
    If No: Go to #2

  2. Are you a member of the Admin group?
If Yes: Can't be "Yes"... if it was yes, you would not have a problem.... you are a liar... Go to #2No
If No: YOU NEED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE ADMIN GROUP....
    Either:
    • Get a system admin to make you a member of the administrator group
    • or else, move continuum to ur desktop.... (almost) all users can write to their desktop

On my dad's comp, i am not an administrator, and i had a hard time trying to find a way to put SS on his comp...

I moved it to the Desktop, (or your own personal folder... My Dox... etc.) and it works perfectly.

Edit: i need to read ALL of the posts before i start posting.... !@#$%^&*...
