Samapico Posted February 1, 2007 Report Posted February 1, 2007 the 300 ping isnt much of an issue... the 11% packet loss is probably what gives you the impression of lag the most. Most of the time, the only thing to do is to wait and it will fix itself, it is most likely an issue from one of these "hops"... The 2 lasts are weird though, like if in 124 cycles, nothing got to them ô.o
yalda1661 Posted February 1, 2007 Author Report Posted February 1, 2007 umm... this is how the last 2 look like...
Hakaku Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Are you running any other programs? If so, try disabling them to see if it changes your lag. If not, what kind of connection do you have? And is it the same for every zone?
PoLiX Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 It looks all internal. I'd check your connections to your router, and router to internet.
yalda1661 Posted February 21, 2007 Author Report Posted February 21, 2007 PING Current:400 ms Average:390 ms Low:360 ms High:440 ms S2C: 17.1% C2S: 0.0% !@#$%^&* it!!!plz help... or should i just give up? i missed this tiny spaceship game
rootbear75 Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 thats not what i meantS2C: 17.1%that means theres a problem on the way back from the server... do a tracert to the zone you are inthen ping the first hop (which should be your router)then ping the second, etc... to find out where the lag problem exists
yalda1661 Posted February 21, 2007 Author Report Posted February 21, 2007 but i've already posted the trace thing (if that's what ur talking about).. i don't know how to find the problem... well here it is again...
rootbear75 Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 (edited) i meant use tracert (and the ping command) from the command line... here is from my comp to TW (66.36.241.110) from the command line (Start -> Run "cmd")then ping each IP address until you find where it starts going unreasonably high...the tracert should also tell you where the lag is... but if it isnt, ping each IP address (and hit CTRL + ALT + PRINT SCRN to print the highlited window only) EDIT: and from that trace you just posted... it looks like a problem on the first hop...which i suspect is your router... check your network settingsEDIT2: after viewing your trace even more... it looks like there's a problem at the "" hop Edited February 22, 2007 by rootbear75
yalda1661 Posted February 22, 2007 Author Report Posted February 22, 2007 u meann... do : tracert (IP) to all the 7 IPs i see in the trace?i did that and ping (IP) for all of them...here it is..Edit: sorry if it's wrong... it's not enough that i don't understand anything about computers.. English is also not my main language.. and thanks for helping Edit: oo yeah.. and the order is like the order in the trace thing...
rootbear75 Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 i meant tracert to the TW IP addressthen ping each one of the hops... so basically, tracert to 66.36.241.110then ping each one of the hops circled everything i found wrong w/ that picture..super high timesnegative ping timesnow i can't explain the negative ping times but the super high traced times means there is something wrong...i also noticed that the super high ping times were NOT consistent... so there is another thing wrong...i honestly don't know what else to do, cause i have never seen such unusual times before...
yalda1661 Posted February 23, 2007 Author Report Posted February 23, 2007 ok.. thanks alot i'll print this and show it to someone who can help me...thank uuuuuuuu
