Yupa Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Beta, do you actually have macros set to those last four wave slots?
Darkflare Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 and the wav has to be encoded in the right way. its probably the most space consuming encoding, but thats the way it likes. its the default encoding in sound recorder, whichever one that is. vb.net> dark, why are you so cool?vb.net> MEN I LOVE THEM protoman.exe> i had sportsday at schhol a few yaers ago and i had to get out onto the filde and i was in the b-room and i took a quick piss and i crap my pants Will I choose rock, paper, or scissors? Mr Ekted Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Most zones do not allow them. http://home.maine.rr.com/user/ekted/pics/ssgc.jpg http://www.againsttcpa.com/images/AgainstTCPA-Log01Small.gif
MikeTheNose Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 They cause 56kers to lag worse, and can be used as an exploit. - MikeTheNose- Subspace Central Network BanG Administrator-------------------------------------"I have never wavered in my commitments to this zone and I am certainly not doing so now." You just did.
Bargeld Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 As far as the encoding, you can use whatever format .wav (uncompressed) that you like, from 8bit mono at 11KHz to 16bit stereo at 44.1KHz. The decision should be based on the duration of your sound clip and the quality you desire for it. Always remember that the file size must be 32k or smaller in order to use it in-game.
