New bomb idea

I was thinking of this:

 

A new level 1 bomb that bounces a lot, maybe 3-4 times, could be useful in basing and tight spaces. Maybe it could be a new bomb or just an upgrade of a certain bomb, maybe harpy gets this ability (though harpy is an easy cheap bomb and its good that way).

 

And MAYBE shrapnel, since if it was a basing bomb, but that could easily make it overpowered and replace falcon missile. This is just my thoughts, I dont mean anything bad for hs just the good.

 

Just a suggestion. Maybe too far-fetched.

lol the weasel's emp isnt major-bounce is it? weasels arent good a basing anyways so hm.

I believe there's a bomb for wzl's that bounces 3-5 times or something, and they can be used in basing.

Personally, I think the weasel should have a l1 bomb that bounces once or twice, and has a few shrapnel, but is counterbalanced by high energy cost and slow fire rate. As it is, the weasel is not useful for basing, when it was originally supposed to be.

Bounce is per ship, and more or less impossible to change on an item-by-item basis.

This may be true, but afaik Brain intended the weasel to be more of a basing ship. While I've been trying to gear it more towards basing, settings can only go so far without items to match (without making a complete overhaul, that is, and it's arguable that I already did back in September.) Then again, Brain did say he had some idea(s) for the weasel, so if implemented well, it may not need a new bomb.

 

My stand on the issue is just that the weasel needs anything to make it a baser and not so much a fighter.

i think the weasle is great just for fighting. you can use spider/terr/wb/jav and lanc (duh) effectively in basing, why not have a ship that is good outside of basing thats not neccesarilly good at basing.
