Yupa Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 make sure javascript is enabled in preferences (tools/options) make sure you aren't trying to use a javascript popup while running a popup blocker program
Fluffy White Bunny Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 I used to have that problem. I dont exactly remember how I fixed it, but here are some things to try: Some pop-up blockers interfere with javascript (javascript is whats used to spawn pop-ups on websites). If you have a pop-up blocker, close it and see if that fixes it. If closing it fixes the problem, then look around in the pop-up blockers settings and see if there is anything related to blocking javascipt. If that doesnt fix the problem, in your browser go to tools>options and look around for any java settings and play around with them. If that still doesnt work, get a real web browser ->www.mozilla.org
Bargeld Posted October 29, 2003 Report Posted October 29, 2003 java and javascript are 2 completely different things, but the options for them are both found in the same area (Tools>Internet Options) Sysop - SSCX Alpha West SVS
madhaha Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Why would your system spec have anything to do with your problem? "Yeah, my Pentium IV does that all the time!" What did you do to your system just before this problem started? DoCk>> it's shaped like a phallus and i live on a wart on its side Hyrulian> biscuitHyrulian> where in Uk u fromB i s c u i t> spain

madhaha Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Relevant system specs would be a good next step. DoCk>> it's shaped like a phallus and i live on a wart on its side Hyrulian> biscuitHyrulian> where in Uk u fromB i s c u i t> spain
