I am happy to announce that the 17th bot is almost complete. I want to hear suggestions from the 17th Community about future bots. Please share your ideas here. Also if anyone is intrested in helping with making bots please contact me in-game, do a ?message, or pm me on this forum (if ?message contact me on these alias' cReEmY because ER>cReEmY alias is not really being used atm). We will be using TWCore so you must know Java programming.

Yea delic wanted TWCore. I think we will still be using those MERVBots but the pub bot and that stuff is changed.

I chose TWCore because it seems to have everything that we need for our bot.

It seems to be working pretty good with TWD. If the zone with most players in SubSpace uses it then it must be for a reason.

 

Either way, that doesn't necessarily mean that we've decided to only use TWCore. We'll use what we see fit for what we need.

 

But I am surprised that you make such an announcement so soon >;D

Not much point in commenting about the bot until you've seen it in action. If it does all the jobs needed and is reliable then congratulations.

Ok, Creamy said the bots up and running, yet theres been no one in 17th for the past day... as far as i could tell, whenever i check it always says 0 like usual on my zone list...

lol at twcore.. creemy bugged me so much about switching to twcore, and ill be honest, i did give the idea a shot. And, to sum things up, i did not switch to twcore. but.. as incomplete said.. if it does what it needs to do, then by all means, go for it.

I reccomended twcore because of twbot before. The twbot makes it easier to host events. I did not expect the bot to be done this quick either. It was 2 days ago I told delic i will make the bot. I thought it was going to take a few weeks for me to do it so I sent it to a few friends and they would edit it and fix bugs and that stuff. And yes the bot is not completely perfect to use and up. I want to do another bot test later. I will give more information about it later after I talk to Delic but I can not really find him. Once this bot test is done 17th may re-launch. We will advert it on the 17th chat so remember to chat=17th. Oh one more thing my core crashed so the bot may not be ready till a few more days but it is basically done.

Instead of being complete idiots, I will give you some advice.

 

1) While the zone sucks, switch it over to ASSS.

2) Create a new public map revolving around soccer, but with something cool with the new ASSS stuff.

3) Create Rumble, Duel, and maybe dodgeball (or some other small but popular event that is easy to code)

 

Forgot BOTs, they are outdated and a waste of time. (not to mention unreliable and take up a lot of CPU Usuage for the host, cause god knows 17th couldn't live with 5 bots up at all times)

Switching to ASSS with 17th is not an option (hosting-wise). Just try to find a better host then priitk's server.

 

Tex, you really don't know what you are !@#$%^&*ting about, everything you said in your post is either false or just re!@#$%^&*ed. I'm not even going into detail with it.
