good thought but unneccessary. The delay will only frustrate/turn away legit newcomers to our forums. Spam is unavoidable, however the mods are doing a good job of keeping it under control and thats all that matters.

I'm a T3G staff member, and I agree that it's obnoxious, however I think that most forum moderators can catch that stuff in time. I would hate for one of our newer players to join the forums, and not be able to post.

I didn't vote, but I can see both sides of the argument here. Probably not needed.

The thing is, the delay will discourage them NBVegita. They join a forum, paste a pre-written paragraph about whatever they want, and they're done. They don't want to wait a specific amount of time before they can post. However, I can see everyone's point about also discouraging actual new players from posting. Building on doc flabby's point, maybe we can not allow anything link related to be posted at all for members under a certain amount of posts? As in.. if anything in the post has a www. or an http:// or something, do not allow it to be posted.

What polix said.

If you stop people making links to sites until they reach 5 posts or whatever then they will just spam to get there anyway and i dont mean spam as in creating a opintless topic. I mean spam as in typing 1 worded posts such as "agreed" like the majourity of attrations posts.
