I've always hated how seperated out IPB Categories feel. Really makes just coming to the forum and looking at the 2 main categories (General and Development) kind of a pain. At the moment now, I can come in and see both on the main index without problem, and I personally like it better that way. It is still not what I'd like to see, but it is a step forward. I've always loved how phpBB lists the forums and categories, makes it all feel streamline, and listed together. Not so seperated and all.

 

Opinions? Ideas?

True. But I've been trying it on a testing skin for ages now. This is as close as I can get it without royally !@#$%^&*ing something up.

 

IPB uses so many styles for multiple purposes, it is so hard to do anything without coding a bunch of new css and editing tons of templates. I will accomplish it eventually though. But this will do for now. It has just been bugging me more and more lately, because I've been working on a phpBB forum, and yeah.

 

Right now I just removed the

from catend, added it to stats_header to fix the missing space it makes, and set a 4px bottom padding to the borderwrap. Also changed the 8Px padding or margin, forget which, on main!@#$%^&*le to 4px, and 4px to the ipbtable .whatever for the "Forum Posts Topics Last Post" crap.

yah, 2.2 really messes it up. 2.1 wasn't so hard to make it look like phpbb, but man, 2.2 is just f'ed up.
