Steigerwald Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Hey just wanted to update everyone. Myself and budweis0r opened a new zone the other day. We already hit 30+ population going into our third day, I know that doesn't say much, but come stop by and check it out. We will be running many leagues and such with cash prizes from sources we have. For those of you who were old school enough to play Vie Warzone or enjoy svs settings now it isnt that far off from the origins of subspace. Its Vie flagging on coke.Join our chat and come by when we have a nice flagging game going so you can really experience it. SSCB Final Revolt?chat=finvolt Thank you, and any ideals or suggestions would be appreciated also.
jacob hunter! Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 ugh, another svs-ish zone. *sigh* Ignored. anyways I just want to let you all no that this zone totally rocks! It has the leetest ship setting with a great overall map of bases. I recommend people to try this zone out as it is truely the best zone I have ever played.Everyne in this zone is also very nice. It is a zone where you can come to and relax, and not have to ever everhave E drama.
»1587200 Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 e-drama makes this game interesting, and I stand by my comment. I like ships to blow up when I shoot them.
The Apache Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 i don't really enjoy SVS settings. too slow.
Budweis0r Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 ugh, another svs-ish zone. *sigh* Id like to clarify that its not SVS settings. It was just based on the original svs settings in that each ship has the same specific purpose in the flagging game. IE Warbird is the most maneuverable ship, Jav is the fastest, ect. We basically took the original SVS flagging concept and tweaked them in a faster more well balanced array of ships to give a more fun/uptodate gameplay and new style. Try it out before you judge it - we have alot of custom gfx/sfx and are welcome to any new ideas. For those of you who dont know. We are hosting a (FRDL) Dueling/ (FRFL) Flagging League here shortly where up to 700$ in prizes will be given to the winners. So stay tuned and check out our forums for signups. http://www.final-revolt.net/forums
Hakaku Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 The sets are definitely better than SVS, and the zone is pretty balanced. Though there's a lot of spamming on the chat... ...700$ is insane... US or CA $?
PoLiX Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 something tells me that is going to be ugly..
»Maverick Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 I think it's !@#$%^&*ing sick to award someone $700 in prizes for an old online 2D space game. That's like throwing away money into a black hole.
»1587200 Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Why not invest the money instead of wasting it on trying to become the most popular nerd in a free game?

»Maverick Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Erm.. your stating the obvious, attraction.
»D1st0rt Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Real money has a way of creating problems in virtual environments
PoLiX Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 True that... we've all seen what happens... Halo anyone?
LostAndNotFound Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 How about you quit advertising for Final Revolt in other zones. It seems a bit hypocritical considering your rules say to not advertise.
Dav Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 thats no surprise, seen cross zone advertising occur a lot which leads to a whole host of bans in the zones involved. This should calm down soon when people realise if the zone is good it will become popular through general word of mouth rather then ads in other zones.
»1587200 Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 You give people in this game way too much credit dav.

jacob hunter! Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 comeon wtf. You all are seriously !@#$%^&*ing lame. Even the admins omg. Nobody truely does give a !@#$%^&* what goes on in ss, because they don't even care or give thanks to a new zone that arrives. This is to better the communtiy !@#$%^&*ing piece of ASSSholy !@#$%^&* i'm disgusted. Sorry for all the bad language but comshow some sign of respect for the people that help the community out.
»Maverick Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 attraction re!@#$%^&*, nobody in this thread said that they didn't like new zones, nor did anyone say that they didn't care about ss or showed disrespect to Steigerwald.
Budweis0r Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 Why not invest the money instead of wasting it on trying to become the most popular nerd in a free game? Why not invest your time in something that makes you money instead of wasting it on trying to become the most popular forum poster nerd in a free game?
»Maverick Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 makes you money? lol how the !@#$%^&* do you plan on making money out of Continuum.*snap* back to reality, Budweis0r
Budweis0r Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 makes you money? lol how the !@#$%^&* do you plan on making money out of Continuum.*snap* back to reality, Budweis0r In no way in the context of anything I mentioned in these posts have I even hinted at the notion of making money out of continuum.
