Configuring router

ive configured my router a long time ago and i need to do it againa dn i forget, im at im ip and router thing at the linkies i rememberd password and ip and w/e but i dont know what to do in there,,, applications and gaming, port forwarding,, what i do? what i put in applications, start, and end? and ip address if it is not 100

create my own server

Make sure you have your server running and you can connect to it (by connecting to the IP of your own computer, not your internet/router IP).

 

For router configuration; you need to open the port of your subgame server to the internet. Also open port+1.

You probably also need to enter the IP of your own computer so make sure you have that (something along the lines of 192.168.xxx.xxx ).

 

For example:

192.168.xxx.xxx : 49000 - 49001

 

I hope this clears up things a bit.
