The !@#$%^&* Deathplus pulled with Halo was bad enough, but this is just rediculous. I wonder how anyone puts up with mister plus for more than 15 seconds without stabbing him in the face. He has some serious control issues and hates the have anyone question his decisions -- even when he asks them to. I don't quite understand Deathplus' logic and the whole support nonsense, but I suspect that it's more of him trying to justify his desire for absolute control. This post really petered out without getting to what I wanted to, but to make a long story short:Deathplus is a !@#$%^&*in sociopath who needs to be shot in the head.

He doesn't mean they used their SSC Billing Slot. They used the physical zone port so newbs would think Red Planet is Hyperspace.I know, dont talk to me like im stupid. It's a smart move actually, since HS was pulled why NOT release it on their port? It's not like HS is coming back to SSCI.

The Apache Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 it's funny how death+ never seems to explain himself when situations like this arise. he seems to think it's none of our business, but HS shutting down (by Dr Brain, but basically forced by SSI) for a while does affect the community greatly, especially the people who play regularly. and we have a right to hear what Death+ and Gameplay have to say for themselves on this situation. from what i interpret, death+ and gameplay dislike ssforum.net, and they want these forums to be moved to their website... or otherwise, Brain has pay for HS to be on the SSI box? it's stupid to say how HS does not support SSI as well - of course HS would be supporting SSI, otherwise why would the zone be on the !@#$%^&*ing server in the first place? with gameplay's disgusting at!@#$%^&*ude towards other players, and Death+'s antics, how will this community ever thrive? my answer? i don't know. what about yours?

He's very abrasive and comes off badly. Also, I've never had a problem with people asking anything, so please don't flame them for it. HS left SSCI because Death+ and Gameplay were forcing us to leave SSForum (going to their forum instead wasn't actually required, btw). And where there's one unreasonable power crazed demand, there's more. Death+ wasn't willing to give me the time needed to find a new host, and he shut the zone down. On another note: Yes, many people have offered their windows hosts to us, and I'm very grateful for the support. I have super insane schoolwork for the next few weeks and won't be able to make any sort of decision until the 16th or 17th. I'm rather hoping that someone offers us a Linux hosting solution before that time, but if not, we'll give windows another go.
»doc flabby Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 I'm rather hoping that someone offers us a Linux hosting solution before that time, but if not, we'll give windows another go.i only have linux boxes, at the moment all my hosted PSS zones are subgame running on wine, but no reason why i couldn't host ASSS, i dont know how to set it up, but you would get s!@#$%^&* access so im sure you would be able to set it up how u like. would be on a different server to the PSSF server, (that is a dev server only running on a vps, i would put u on a real server so don't judge the ping times and performance off that. connection would be 10mb, I don't have any SSC billing. There would be a conditions !@#$%^&*ociated with my hosting, basically you would have to add in your news.txt an acknowledgement + advert link to my website - nothings free after all if you find anyone better use them but this is what i can offer if you dont!
