Server Help

I'm having issues setting up the server files for a map testing zone I'm making. I follow the tutorial, and the subgame.exe connects to the subbill.exe. Everything's fine until I try to log in to the zone. I have to add it manually to the list because it won't show up on the list normally. I get it added, and I try to get into the zone, but the subgame.exe comes up with a message saying "Client's request to contact server has been ignored." I'm on High-Speed ethernet, and I'm pretty sure I have no firewall. Any ideas on what to do?

The subgame2 console says 'Client connection request from billing server ignored'

 

You need to change the Billing:IP in server.ini to localhost instead of 127.0.0.1.

I did what you said, but it makes it even worse. It won't even connect to the biller now! =\ It's somewhat frustrating that I can't edit a .ini to make something work. It's just text and I can't get it right!

You can try using Catid's SSBilling2 instead of subbill, it's a much better biller.

If you still can't get things to work, post your server.ini and subbill.ini.

thanks man, i got it figured out. i didn't realize you had to literally type in LOCAL HOST instead of the actual IP addy. Thanks.
