Hey. I was just in Hyperspace for a bit and this guy asked if anyone wanted to duel. I said yeah and obviousely typed ?go duel, as any normal person would do.

At that point I thought I lagged out, since my modem sometimes resets itself, so I went back, typed it again and then I was banned. =\ It says I'm banned until the 4th of next month, ban ID #57.

I was wondering why the !@#$%^&* I'd be banned, so I did a search on these forums and I found 2 other people with my problem. Apparently the zone crashes when someone tries to go to a sub-arena (which is re!@#$%^&*ed).

You guys really need to TELL people that, first off, since every single SS zone has a sub-arena for dueling, elim, etc. and not ban people without any kind of warning or explanation. I understand having some stupid problem where you can't switch arenas, but banning random people is just not smart. I've only been in this zone 3 times, so not playing here isn't a big problem, but it's the principle of it. I've played SS since around '98 and never had any problems with bans, so I wouldn't wanna start having them now.

Big D.

omg just disable the creation of arenas ffs, till someone feels like fixing this exploit.

It would be easier to make ?go a moderator command, that way people would have to use ?arena or ?arena -a

Many options would work well...I don't know why this is even an issue with a finished zone. This is usually something you see in a test zone.

And yeah, I worked on Project X with T4 (graphics mostly). Right now we have programmers slowly adding it everything gameplay-wise. smile.gif

.... Im in Project X all the time lol - well I was when I made some of the bases and i helped T4 with the setts. Good job on ur gfx tho, i like the "stuff-thats-outside-each-base" - but now im usually in BF since muslum is slow on programming D:

isnt ?go client side.... just like ?nopubchat, ?music, etc

In other words, that doesn't work ^^

Yeah ?go is clientside but grel decided to put permissions on it. So you can move cmd_go around the group files. Note this is possible due to special "?go packets", it does not get sent in chat.
