Anyway I was playing on 17th for the first time ever since forever yesturday and no one was on wtf. Has the whole SS population gone down or just 17th. Might as well put delic as the new sysop, its either that or the zone dies. I dont see why not. I dont expect mike to bust his !@#$%^&* and do anything.

When Mike hires someone for Head SysOp (which I assume he will and believe he has to), then it'll be that person, or whoever he hires's job to inform people of what's going on.But right now, nothing appears to be happening, because there's no Head SysOp to run things.All we can do right now is wait and see what Mike decides to do. I need to talk with him but I haven't been able to due to different time zones. Something will happen eventually >;P!

Mike was one of the original three creators, it makes sense that he's the owner.And if you knew how things worked, you'd know that without Mike, 17th would probably be lost.It may not appear that way from your point of view, but it's the truth. I haven't said that he'll be a Zone Dev, I said that he'll make a decision.He always has in previous situations like this one, so why wouldn't he now?

Put it back to the original, shrink the map and get back our base I've never even seen MikeTheNose in the zone in my entire life.

Delic Posted December 14, 2006 Report Posted December 14, 2006 Maybe he didn't, I don't know, I wasn't there.But I do know that without Mike, the zone wouldn't have been created in the first place.If I remember what they said correctly, he was the one with the connects.. Who knows.. maybe Telson and Emblazon would have their wish come true (the zone shut down) if Mike wasn't the owner.

Mike is taking his sweet!@#$%^&* time like always. When he rushes into things, they go horribly wrong (IE:Dark_Nexus). I mean come on, the zone is hanging by a thread (again) and hes posting about cows. The 17th has gone into a "void" twice before in the past. This is just the 3rd time. 17th's time is up, there is no life in this zone. Turn the zone into a zombie event, then the zone will actually fit its theme. Scratch the rumble in pub idea, that is just asking for bot bugs/abuse and utter confusion. Think of something logical, such as a pub that utilizes rumbles' gameplay instead of its map. IE: starting out with smaller freqs. 3v3v4v4 etc... why do u think 2v2 and 3v3 were such a success. it sure as !@#$%^&* wasnt the map. I know all this rabblings is useless considering the fact that 17th has no development team or pop for that matter but whatever.

Okay, I'm on the dev team, and its not so much that we're a bunch of lazy sods (well, I am, but i don't know about the others). It's more of a case that we have no direction to develop anything. If someone has a plan for the zone I haven't been informed. That being said, perhaps this is a good time to get some direction on the matter.

I plan on posting one in Manus' new post. MiketheNose seems like MiketheThumb, like in Roman times when it was a thumb up or down to live or die. If his thumb is up now...which is hard to tell due to his inactivity of recent days (and I also think that it isnt real pressing) but we need a free flow of constructive ideas and openness if 17th or whatever a new theme is to come forth. I admit im newb on alot of sets and stuff of that nature so my ideas may only work for events and maybe not work at all. But ill give them anyway.
