PoLiX Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 On how all the teams look right now, this is my feelings: The Bears will choke again as they have every year they get close for a long time now. They just can't keep it together, and if they have the bye week in the playoffs (They're division is done and conquered for the most part, not officially, but they got the playoffs), well, we saw what happened last time they came off a bye week. Seeing how Dallas has rallied up lately with Romo. They're going to be a huge factor in who makes it through the playoffs if they hold strong. In the NFC south, it is hard to say who will come out on top honestly. New Orleans dropped 2, and Carolina picked up 2. I'd say after this week, one of them will define themselves. I'd say Carolina takes the division though. Seattle has H!@#$%^&*elbeck back, and the way they played with Wallace, they didn't do too bad. San Fransisco is right on their !@#$%^&*es though, but have been before and suddenly choked and fell. Seattle has an easier schedule to finish than San Fran before they meet again in week 15. St Louis isn't going to lose out on a chance to atleast attempt to grab a playoff birth, and so they're going to give it to them. -------------------- The Jets suprised the !@#$%^&* out of everyone, including my buddy who is a die hard fan when they beat the Patriots. But I don't see them taking the division. The Patriots have the toughest game this weekend, facing off with the Bears, and I think this is where we'll see if the Bears can truly handle a hard team. Up into Week 10 I think it was, the Bears had actually only faced 2 teams with a winning record. And Week 9 they got stomped by, at the time, one of the last place AFC teams. We saw the Jets keep them to 10 points, and I think if the Patriots win this, they'll beat the Jets this next time, and take the division. Baltimore, strong team all season, but been really quiet about it. I think they'll capture their division and go into the playoffs. Indianapolis has to do it sometime. What is this, 3rd year in a row with an amazing record? They've gotta get into the Super Bowl sometime. They've got the division and playoffs in the bag unless someone catches and takes down manning in a bad way. San Diego, Kansas City, and Denver. The closest division in the NFL right now in my opinion. 3 strong teams, and only 1 will come out on top. In the AFC, this is where 1 of the wildcards will be held. I call this one too close to call, but watching how the Chargers have played, I think they can come out on top unless someone pulls out a miraculous upset on them. ------------- Wild Cards: AFC - Kansas City and Jets. Kansas City showed they can topple Denver, and The Jets have showed they can take down the Patriots. Cincinnati, Jacksonville, and I think its Miami just don't seem strong enough to me. It all is on the Jets here though, but I give them it. Wild Cards: NFC - New York Giants and New Orleans Saints. San Fransisco and St. Louis I see neither pulling off a Wild Card spot. ------------- Not willing to call who will goto Championship Games or the Super Bowl just yet. It'll be more clear by week 15.

Slipped Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 I'm hoping the Cowboys would be able to pull it off with Romo and make it to the superbowl. If that doesn't happen, I'd go with my next team, the Colts. The Cowboys are doing amazingly well since they put Romo in for Bledsoe. Romo is one of the top rated QBs in the NFL right now, and he's only started 5 games. If they make it anywhere, Romo will be the man to take them there.
scarface.nl Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Tennessee is obviously going to win. Vince Young 146 rushing yards, 4 TD's vs the Panthers in the Superbowl GG noobs.

NBVegita Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Colts and bears won't make it to the big show. Colts don't have a strong enough team. They've won 4 games this season my a margin of 3 or less to teams of the likes of buffalo, the jets, the jags and denver. And 2 of those were come back wins. As usual manning won't be able to bring them to the big show. As for chicago...they won't do it either. The fact that they almost lost to arizona, and had some magic to pull that out, and not only did they lose to miami, they gave up 31 points to miami. And their offence could only post 10 points against the jets? Not going to happen. As for baltimore, they're playing very well this season. Their defense is top 3 in the league, and with the play of McNair, they have a good chance at it. With the chargers, what impresses me is not tomlinson, but Rivers. Rivers is doing just what the chargers need out of a qb, he's making good decision, and not turning the ball over. If rivers keeps it up, and tomlinson stays healthy, they're the scariest team in the AFC. As for the NFC I agree that dallas is the strongest team there. Romo is 4-1 as a starter, and has a qb rating of something like 103 in those 5 starts (this is excluding his relieving bledsoe in the middle of the giants game) with the way they're playing, they definately have a chance to make the show. Every other team in the NFC is too inconsistent. For NO, when your QB throws for 1604 yards in 4 games, and 9 TD's and you lose 3 out of 4 of those games...yeah...of course he also managed to do 7 ints in those 4 games which won't help. The giants looked good until going into chicago. With the loss of toomer, and not having strahan or Umenyiora, and losing madison for some games, they just don't have it left in them. They have too many injuries, and Eli is pulling a Manning, and had a good first half of the season, with a terrible second half. Too tired to go into Seattle in depth, but even when they had h!@#$%^&*elback, they are too inconsistent. Maybe with Alexander back they'll get that fire going, but I just don't see the fireworks they need coming out of that team this season.
