Muskrat Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Its probably because european countries actually have some good education legislation....
PoLiX Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Most colleges around here if you take the right classes, give you free software. It's how my buddy got Rhino for us, he was taking a class, and they gave him it free. So he let me get a copy of it too. Same with Windows XP, my bro got it from his HS class for free. Although Intel and Microsoft keep giving our HS grants for technology anyways, so I guess that would help.
»SD>Big Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 ya, same here, i got a free copy of windows xp and windows 2003 server through classes.
Witchie NL Posted November 11, 2006 Author Report Posted November 11, 2006 i can get practicly any software for free now since the system admin is my friend ill just make him copy some CD's for me (so far: WinXP SP2, MS Office 2003)
