sHad0ws Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 ok i have a 17" monitor and i want to force continuum into 1600x1200 but i dont know how to do it and if it is even possible, can somebody help me
»Maverick Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 First make sure the checkbox View / Advanced Options / Show Default Resolutions is unchecked. Continuum uses the resolution settings from Windows. So if you want to force Continuum to run in a higher resolution you have to force Windows to show other resolutions. You can do this by doing the following:Go to Display Properties (Right Click on desktop or Control Panel) / Settings tab / Advanced button / Monitor tab / Uncheck the checkbox 'Hide modes that this monitor cannot display'.WARNING: Manually forcing the resolution of your monitor (higher then its set maximum) can give unexpected results or problems if not damage it. This is at your own risk. Let me know if this fixes your problem.
