The company I work for needs to update all its health and safety so for all the dangerous products that we have that could kill or could harm you, we have to ring the company and get them to send us a data safety sheet.

I came across some White Spirit which was branded by B&Q. So I ran them and this is what happened.

This was an asian woman

B&Q> !@#$%^&*o?

Me> Hi, I was wondering if you could help me, im after a data safety sheet for your White Spirit product.

B&Q> You want dust sheet?

Me> No i want a data safety sheet

B&Q> What? ok I get Terry

Few minutes later some guy called terry picks up the phone who happens to be another asian.

Terry> !@#$%^&*o

Me> Hi i was wondering if you could help me. The company I work for needs to update it's health and safety do!@#$%^&*ents and information for your White Spirit product.

Terry> Ok is there number on it?

Me> Yes, thats what i've rung, you are this number.

Terry> Ok, ring this other number and if that dont work I get manager.

Anyone else have stupid experiences like that?

PS I state that these people are asian, this is not a racist remark.

Did you hear the screeching of tires followed by the sound of metal crunching before you hung up with the azn's? (now that was racist)

rofl.

anyways, yeah, i called microsoft a few months ago and the indian women talking to me kept on saying "pardon" after every sentence. i was explaining that the product key for windows wasn't working, so i asked her what can she do...

"pardon?"

"i need a new product key for windows xp, the current one i have isn't working."

"sorry, i do not understand, pardon?"

"i need a product key for my windows xp. can you help?"

"pardon? ok, i switch you to another person please wait"

lol, i eventually spoke to this other indian guy who understood what i was asking and got it working after 15 minutes of me explaining and alot of "pardon?"s.

i phoned for broadband with NTL and had them activate a modem i already had. It starts working and fails a few days later. When i call up to report a fault the guy on the line said "this modem doesn't exist when would you like an engineer to come?" i explain that i want that one switched on and 30 minutes of expensive phone time later my connection is fully manually created and working.
