Fluffy White Bunny Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Silke's point is that provided pure governments could exist, anarchy would still not exist. >>>Her<<< point is that
Aileron Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Why is silk feminine? Because no guy in his right mind wears anything made out of silk with possible exception in rare cases to underwear. Yes, I made an !@#$%^&*uption, but I figured that 70/30 I was right and if not 90/10 that you heard it before.
Silk Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 What do you really know, plenty of people wear silk shirts, ties i even own 3 pairs of silk boxers. Have you ever seen Tears of the Sun?
Bueshtak Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 I love silk...maybe that makes me "gay" but I like to feel good, and silk is just so yummy
Silk Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 All the love . You have time to sit and be on computer for a good part of the day but not rent a movie?
Aileron Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 I only have time to get on the forums at school
»nintendo64 Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 Heh, plus a movie it's at least 1 hour and something, while answering to the forums it's just a few minutes. -nintendo64
Silk Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 Meh maybe so but what do you do all day that doesnt have time for a movie?
Aileron Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Well, in a literal sense, if I really wanted to I could find time to watch any single movie. What I meant was that between college, work, and the tasks I have to do at home, I don't have time to do much else, and that time is devoted to Subspace.
Aileron Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 You want to get a few kills off of me while I am distracted, don't you?
Aileron Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 I can't tell you because I don't rightly know myself. Omega Fire and 17th Parallel are some good bets. However, that is likely to change in a few months anyways.

Guest feef Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Just a quick note about anarchism. Academic anarchism usually boils down to: A system of government cannot be forced on you. So you have the right to choose your own government, whether such a government already exists or you create it yourself. If you choose to participate under a system of government for whatever reason, you are beholden to their laws. You can, however, choose not to participate at any point unless you violated their laws; thus you might want to read the fine print before agreeing to their terms. Variations to this state that this would be too readily abused by governments to impose upon well-meaning individuals the freedom to choose, and propose instead that only those who attempt to injure another can be organized against. This would create several problems also, as you might have imagined. Now, I personally see democracy as the best form of government; but I also appreciate the thought of being able to *choose* your system of government. The world is a small place with limited resources, however, and I seriously question anarchy's compatibility with these cir-*BAD WORD*-stances. Perhaps once we're space-faring and widely distributed with a seemingly unlimited amount of raw resources, anarchy will be the only sensible solution going forward.
Guest poop juice Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 As both political philosophy and personal lifestyle, social anarchism promotes community self-reliance, direct participation in political decision-making, respect for nature, and nonviolent paths to peace and justice. :tomcat:
