nmkj98 Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Okay, I've read all the information about creating new accounts and how you have to pick something really obscure to even have a hope of getting an unused login name. However. Nothing is working. The program persists in telling me that the password is incorrect for the selected username. I have not found any password-length restrictions, but I've been attempting passwords 6 characters long, etc... so that shouldn't be a problem. And yes, I've been trying really obscure names. The last one I tried was xfthm98. Okay, so there's a remote chance that it's already in use, but the consistency with which I'm encountering failure is somewhat suspicious. Are there any other issues I should be looking at? The version I've got is Continuum 0.39 PR 1, and I'm trying primarily Extreme Games as a zone, but I've tried a couple others at random just in case that zone wasn't working correctly tonight. I am behind a router, but it's a default configuration that shouldn't be causing any issues -- unless I need to have a certain port open in order for an account registration to work...? Any info about that would also be very helpful, I'm sure. Help!
Hakaku Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 At this point I recommend that you wait a few hours before trying again; you might have tried to log in too many times.Either that, or you're putting funky symbols in your name and/or password.
