Shrop Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 i think the warbird would be more usefull if the Thrust option didnt let the energy decrease, cuase now days i see a warbird get replaced by a Terrier if not a weasel in center killing, tweaking its recharge abit will make this ship more of a choice for your regular newb Quote
Deathboy-evil Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 lol shrop, I used to think that as well.. Doc has those settings the last time.. and I loved it.. but ever since he tweaked it .. it occured to me during the change of settings that, newbies themselves.. new players.. had a much better chance at killing anyone including vets with these current settings, and I thought.. if the settings were changed back to the original ones than we wouldn't have this current population. Many people would have left by now. Many of which are still here. Quote
Bomook Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 I think the warbird is fine. I don't use afterburners at all, and I can kill most people in the center and stay alive. With just an ion drive, the ship is maneuverable enough (in almost all cases) to not need afterburners to dodge attacks. With the nerf on the weasel's flechette though, we'll probably see fewer center killling weasels in the future anyways. Quote

Deathboy-evil Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 For once I'll agree with Doom, but I doubt he was referring to it as a compliment for most of the vets. Quote
