I recently started playing this game after reading about it on Digg.com. I'm a n00b, so I get shot down far more often than I shoot others down smile.gif

I was thinking about the score resets that happen every two weeks... it be cool if your "High Score" for a particular zone was stored and displayed next to your current score in the client scoreboard (for all to see). If you happened to beat your previous high score at the end of the two week period, your new high score would replace what was stored. If you didn't beat your high score, then the old high score would remain.

There is no way of getting the score of a player out of the zone without using all kind of complex bots everywhere, especially now the scores site has gone completely down and won't ever get back up.

Good idea but for the time being I would rate it as undoable.

can be done with bots and lvz.

But your new. So i can tell you there is practicly 0 development in the game.

This idea needs to be done in the server which has 0 development and the client needs to be modified for that aswell which has 0,0000001 development.

So i set 10 euro's to the fact this wont happen unless the game is completely recoded.

What WitchieNL says is a half truth. The game is still being developed for, there just aren't any updates to the client. Anyone is free to run their own server with custom settings, graphics, etc. You have a good idea, but it probably won't happen in the near future.

points dont mean much in every zone either...

but... emmm..

especially now the scores site has gone completely down and won't ever get back up.
that sucks bad

Maybe having your high score saved in the zone and displayed via the client would help off-set the scores site going down.

Who is responsible for the source code for this game? Is it really not going to be developed any more? I wish I would have found this game 10 years ago.

I contacted the owner of Sonera weeks ago, never got a call back. :\ I guess the scores are gone forever, like most people are saying now.

A truly motivated coder who does what PriitK did (make Continuum from the ground up) might revive the population.
