Continuum crashes

sometimes the game will just crash completely, but i'm not lagging at all. whats up?

Ummm... a bit more info would be nice; such as does Continuum just disconnect? or does your whole computer freeze and crash? or does Continuum fail to respond? What OS are you running? Do you get any error messages? yadda yadda....

SS causes my computer freeze, and other times causes my pc to restart by itself. I have no problems with any other software at all.

 

In my case it could be that I dont have enuff memory (192 pc100 ram).. running XP Pro sp3.

 

 

dont know what else needs to be explained,

 

oh when it reboots by itself.. the savedump.exe is running on restart for the first few mins.

This is definitely caused by faulty hardware (power supply, video card, sound card, memory, network card, CPU or motherboard) or buggy drivers for them.

I would more likely go with drivers. Sometimes even when you install drivers they don't install correctly. You can try to update all of your drivers, but I would guess they're all up to date. I had a similar bug in an online game, but it was a graphics bug. Every time I would tick out of the game it would screw up my gfx to no end. I never used to have the prob til I reformatted and then it started messing up. I tried a lot of things and the only time it finally stopped was the next time I reformatted and of course had to reinstall all of the drivers from scratch.

 

So I guess try to update/ all of your drivers, I don't believe re-installing cont would help, but reformatting might. When was the last time you had a reformat? And is it really worth it to play cont?
