jacob hunter! Posted December 12, 2006 Author Report Posted December 12, 2006 yea... otherwise continuum will die off soon.
»freakmonger Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Depends on what your definition of "soon" is. I don't see continuum 'dieing' anytime between now and 3 years from now.
jacob hunter! Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Posted December 19, 2006 Depends on what your definition of "soon" is. I don't see continuum 'dieing' anytime between now and 3 years from now. I mea as in like 5 years or less.
Wampus Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Because there can't be any money made out of Continuum.Even if they try, the community will reject it. Ain't that the trueth. My suggestion is that someone should do it for free, for fun even. I would! Except, I am not much of a programmer.
Steigerwald Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 People demand too much from something that is free. Just take what you have and be happy with that. If he gets around to it, then fine, other then that. I think he did enough to help save the game for a few years.
Shia' Tan Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 why is there a need for a new release? it seems fine how it is
rootbear75 Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 stop humping dead topics... god !@#$%^&*
»1587200 Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 It's not a dead topic if the converstation keeps going... And there is plenty of room for improvements Shia, most are server side, espically with the rash of Cheat Engine lamers going around and the fact that 2d games are losing popularity to the more intence 1st person 3d games.
KoTD Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 It's quite simple really. What point is there to update something that won't really benefit you personally? Sure, we'd all love a new update, but people just don't have time for side-projects such as continuum that are non-profit for them. People are paying real money for your entertainment, and Continuum isn't even a major online game, even if it's one of the oldest. If free isn't good enough for you, just go away. As for the 2D part of it, 2D games still appeal to us sad players with Nvidia RIVA TNT2 Model 64 video cards xP.
