🜲 Swift Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 As a last and final contribution to the community I plan to lay down a convention for subspace players to come to. Mind you... I have in mind to either have it in San Diego or Seattle. Choice is up to you folks and if you wish to make this a public announcement feel free to or I may do so myself. A poll is present. Please vote. 🜲 Swift Posted September 30, 2006 Author Report Posted September 30, 2006 Not to belittle you, but I've made half of my visits to lots of friends when I was a teenager. My mother didn't care and I had tons of fun. So all in all it worked out. But I wouldn't recommend it unless you knew the people who you were going to see. It's safer that way for everyone around. ★ Blocks Posted September 30, 2006 Report Posted September 30, 2006 When, and how big a deal would this be? Props to you Swift if you choose to do this, but with the current state of SubSpace, is it really worth it to organize a public event?
Confess Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Its actually funny that you call it Piss Water...because for certain beers, (although im not certain as to now), bthey used to piss in the beer (Corona especially).
★ 1587200 Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 This isn't a topic about beer, it's a topic about the convention, and no I didn't go off topic...mexians stealing my beer in San Dieago makes me not want to go...

★ Rowen Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 I heard there is a SS community starting up in Seattle, Washington. I checked, and it's only $200 to get there and 3 days by bus. I'd be up for it. 🜲 PoLiX Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 A HUGE percentage we're on the west coast. Now with the servers moving east, don't know. But I remember from the info we use to gather on SSCentral, SSNet, and SSDL, it use to always show most visitors from Western Us/Canada areas.
