Gibbit Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 k heres my continuum problems: 1: nothing saves, zone list doesn't save, list of names don't save, macro's don't save, ect. (although at certain times its saved random things, ie the first zone list I made saved, and the first set of macro's I made saved. as well as the first 2 names I made.) 2: often I can't get into a zone because I can't load a certain lvz file in it. if anyone has any ideas on how to fix anyof this please tell ^^ its no BIG problem I just memorize everything and survive with out zones I can't load for long periods of time until I reinstall and it works for a little while.
»Maverick Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 Are you running Continuum through right-clicking on the Continuum icon choosing 'Run As...' ?
Samapico Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 right-click on your continuum folder, go in properties, make sure the Read-Only isnt checked. Maybe your settings files are marked as read-only for some reason and continuum might not be able to overwrite them

»Maverick Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 Check if the files within your Continuum folder are set to read-only. (When removing read-only from the Continuum map windows should have asked you to apply it to the subfolders and files too already.)

»SOS Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Sounds like a permissions issue, maybe. Are you sure the user has rights to write there? Also, your disk could be full
Guest Guest Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 no way the disks full, I'll try again as admin
Gibbit Posted September 28, 2006 Author Report Posted September 28, 2006 ^ that was me and it won't stay changed when I make it so its not read-only. even when I do it with admin
»SOS Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Well, maybe the rights are so messed up not even admin can touch it. Try to reset them, if you know how. Properties->Security->Advanced->Something.
