Am I the only one who thinks turreting needs to be changed? The shipchange+summon combo makes the turrets nearly impossible to kill (if done correctly). Once again we bump into the shipchange problem which is still existent in this zone..but I think there should be some kind of summoning limit or something. While I'm at it there should also be an option to prevent yourself from being summoned..I'm tired of being summoned when I don't want to and don't tell me to switch freqs because I shouldn't have to.

 

Oh yeah I also forgot to add how turrets arent affected by bullets..which is also very ridiculous as well.

This is where your logic is flawed. The entire purpose of a turret is so that, when done correctly, no groups of 1, 2, or 4 people can beat a 6 person turret. It's called teamwork, we encourage it, and when done correctly it is very effective.

i kill turrets all the time, its not very hard, not atleast as hard as ur making it look like mwar.

 

i think the good turrets (a.k.a me + annoy) can get high bounties because it takes skill to kill us.

I'm just playin. I agree, most turrets are easy to kill cuz they're newbs. And sometimes I'll come in and be like WTF why does this turret have so much bty and no one trying to kill it. Then boom! They've suffered the wrath of my shredder

No I'm not scared of a turret, I'm just pissed at the shipchange+summoning combo. The least that could be done is that turrets get affected by bullets.

It seems that every problem boils down to reshipping.

I don't think reshipping is a problem since your bounty gets reset if you reship, doesn't it?

 

Turrets aren't that hard to kill, but a good driver makes it definitely harder.

 

And ofcourse bullets don't effect turrets. When you shoot bullets, what happens when it hits one player? That's right, it doesn't hit anybody else.

For once, I might agree with you Evo, but for the part about bullets affecting other players on the turret, your a bit off. Bullets like Shredder, Will affect the turret mainly, but with a side affect to the other players, and some other bullets as well.

Same stuff though. They're inside the ship, why would they take damage? The bullets aren't hitting THEM. IF you want them to take damage use bombs.

We know the reason, we want a solution.

Bombs hardly do anything to turrets, bullets should be able to hit them. And make a summoning delay so they cant reattach right back to the lanc immediately after it dies.

Only problem with a summon delay is that summon might become obsolete, why bother with a $50,000 summon when it's no more useful than F7?
