ThunderJam Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Beef tells me that LAST NIGHT (before this happened) him and TV were tryign to get GS online.HE says tv was going to tell GS (for the record) they he hired beef on his own will.Then the next day tv did all this. Beef feels like tv was leading him astray before he ditched him.
The Apache Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 ok, so, let's get this topic sorted out then... from what i understand, this is what happened?: - soup goes into Halo and realises agurus is staff. soup asks about his prize money*, and then gets banned for 2 years by an operator. *soup hasn't received money in two months. - soup finds out that true_vision re-hired agurus. - thunderjam pipes up with: - true_vision and beefie were co-owners of halo.- true_vision moves Halo to SSCB while beefie is offline.- true_vision fires and bans beefie while he is offline: the ban is 6500 days long.- true_vision re-hires agurus back as staff.- agurus posts in the news.txt that the zone has moved to sscb thanks to svs and altec. - PoLiX says that agurus either gets removed or the zone gets removed because of the ssc policy stating that a net-banned player cannot be staff in a ssc zone. furthermore, ghost ship approved the move and had no problem with mr. beefie being fired.* altec and polix agreed to help them move, but they didn't seem to know about agurus being staff. agurus was the reason they wanted to move, altec and polix wanted to so rightly stay out of the situation. (good move) *my comment: mr. beefie can be removed and banned for no apperent reason, so i'd stop whining about it, thunderjam. furthermore, ssc has no control (or shouldn't have any control) over who gets to be co-owner in the zone. they should have nothing to do with a local ban. - PoLiX says that he has sorted things out with agurus and agurus should know what he can and can't do. - Protoman.exe finds out that agurus nor the zone has been removed. - Thunderjam says they were trying to get GS online... and some other various bull!@#$%^&*. My comments: Thunderjam, just stay the !@#$%^&* out of this. you are just stirring up more !@#$%^&* for the !@#$%^&* of your buddies sake. if beefie got fired and banned for 6500 days, get the !@#$%^&* over it - it's true_vision's call; not anyone elses. you can't do anything about it. gg personally, everyone, i think we should all ignore thunderjam, he is stirring !@#$%^&* up to cause more trouble.

Come to a friendly zone -> SSCB Devastation and I promise you I wont ban ya ... unless you break the very few zone rules (typically you get warned a few times anyways). We have a small base of players, but a great base, its a very friendly, fun zone to play.

This whole situation first occured when steigerwald relized and noticed Agurus had been gaining a profit off of google ads for Halo. It was then relized by steigerwald that Agurus had also not given Soup his prize money for a dueling tournament (and the day before Agurus gave the zone away, he claimed to have sent the money). Agurus decided not to send it to him because they got into a fight, and decided he would keep it himself. steigerwald informed true_vision about this, and then he wanted to help boot Agurus out. I found out about this, and confronted steigerwald. steigerwald told me everything that was happening, and he informed Death+ of what he knew. Death+ then informed Ghost Ship with the information. Ghost Ship then told Death+ that he did not want Agurus owning an SSC zone. Agurus, was given 2 options. Move Halo off SSC, or give Halo to someone. After several meetings, Agurus choose to give the zone to true_vision. Directly after the meeting, true_vision then signed over half of Halo to myself with the same exact powers as him. Many people believe he was forced to give me co owner, but to tell you the truth, he wasn't. MikeTheNose, Noo$e, I\/Ir Beefie, true_vision, and Death+ were all witnesses of both of these events (Agurus giving true_vision co-owner, and then true_vision giv ing me co owner with exactly the same powers as himself - screenshots were taken). After this happened, Agurus became a system operator. When he relized true_vision had given me co-owner, he decided to then move halo to SST, and shutdown the zone on SSCI. At this moment, he had given Halo away, and had no input on what happened. This was considered a stolen zone at this point, and Ghost Ship netbanned Agurus, and blocked the port for SST Halo. Halo had moved back to SSCI, where true_vision and myself owned it once again. So now, true_vision decided to axe me I guess, and move Halo to SSCB. I was netbanned for logging in as the bot names in Halo, though they didn't change the passwords to the bots I placed in Halo. During this whole event, SVS had been crying to Ghost Ship about how I was forced, and how true_vision didn't have any powers, and how I had level one bang. Many people believe I was somehow forced into co-owner. I wish I took screenshots before tv and steigerwald tried to !@#$%^&* Agurus over, because it clearly shows tv was asking me what he should do, and that he'd give me sysop himself. I believe Viligante (owner of DS), and a few council members suggested to Death+ that I should be co owner because of the past !@#$%^&* with myself, and being !@#$%^&*ed over by Agurus and Testtube in the move to SSC from SSZ. I dont think Im going to fight this. After this, I have really gotten to see an inside look on the SSC Bang Ops, and the SSC council. I really believe it's time for me to move on, and this is a perfect reason to move on. I would just like to tell you all Death+ was one person who was involved in this, that was making a difference for SS. This has put a lot of !@#$%^&* on his plate, and I hope it will clear up. -true_vision, this will catch up with you one day. You tried to !@#$%^&* steigerwald, Agurus, and myself over for power.

When it comes to power the community doesnt matter as long as you can get sysop far too often. But during the bull!@#$%^&* I had to babysit halo and I personally spoke with true vision and asked him if he had given equal co ownership to beef on his own and he had told me yes... Me and D+ are different people, tv knows this... there was no need for him to lie to me about it. And because of your lies, you will now be the first one to ever meet my perm ignore list. And anyone who wants to be involved with you can be added to same list. I want no affiliation with liars or anyone who is involved with liars... Altec/Death+ you both disappoint me for allowing this !@#$%^&* to happen on your servers. Halo is seriously not worth the trouble... You both look pathetic for having this much involvement in something as lame as halo... I have lost some respect for both of you. I strongly believe you guys should shut the !@#$%^&* down and let the kids off ssc handle the kid !@#$%^&*.. which this is clearly childish !@#$%^&*.

Everyone always thinks "ah, the owner sucks, shut it down, or this or that, blah blah blah". The reason I am putting the effort in... When I played Halo/Staffed there, I really enjoyed the players. They're just there to have fun and play a game, not be involved in all the politics sorrounding their zones head of staff. It isn't their fault this !@#$%^&* is going down. Not at all fair to them. Edit: didn't see thread was closed, but yeah. I think it can end with "Think of the players, not the power".
