jream Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 I keep getting this message?I have no idea why I can run anything. It only happened for the past 2 days but now it wont fix.I can run anything else with no lag except subspace. http://www.jream.com/upload/img/ss1.gif My brother sometimes plays on the other computers, if that has anything to do with it. What is the deal? I reinstalled subspace, rebooted, reconnected, unplugged WiFi, reset IP, and I still get this. Yet I can do anything else on the internet at 500kb/sec down 60kb/sec up. (I dont run that when playing SS).
jream Posted September 21, 2006 Author Report Posted September 21, 2006 PLEASE HELP!!!!!No subspace for a week IM DYING
»SOS Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Basically it says that data is having a very hard time reaching your computer. It could be some random network fluke. Indeed, 95% of the time, that is exactly what these problems are. Just wait it out. It could take a while... Or maybe not. Can other computers on the same link play Continuum? If yes, it is some computer issue.
jream Posted September 22, 2006 Author Report Posted September 22, 2006 The PC in the other room can, though its connected to the Router through a cable, mine and the others goes wireless. Though on wireless I have no problem with lag on any other software or game
»SOS Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 Do a trace of 500 cycles and post it here. Maybe that will shed some light on this. (To do a trace, just click the trace button in Continuum and wait until the cycle count is 500)

»SOS Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Strange. This indicates very little lag at all. You say the other computer works fine. Hmm... you can try updating your network card drivers (if you can find any newer ones). It is also possible that some software on the computer is interfering (a firewall? security programs? spyware? trojans?). And it is also possible that the network card itself has gone stupid and needs to be replaced (cheaper network cards can cause all kinds of strange things).
jream Posted October 1, 2006 Author Report Posted October 1, 2006 I guess i wont play subspace anymore this is dumb.ill find a new game
