packets are sent twice on some occasions (chat data mostly i believe) when you start losing them. Server reads that some are recieved twice giving you more then expected and so calculates that as a -ve loss i believe.

I've seen it plenty of times, mainly on bots though, I remember seeing a bot in the zone i used to work in which had over C2S -200 and i think it had a very similar S2C but it didnt have any affect on the bot for some reason.

I been wondering about that aswell, 2 years ago i had -99.9 ploss for 3 months straight....thought i was fked forever when it came to subspace heh.

I had an explanation to this.. I think Mike told me once many moons ago.. forgot what he said though.

There is a nice FAQ topic !@#$%^&*led something like "What exactly is lag?" that explains this.

 

In summary, it is just a random glitch in the networking system and does no harm (although servers sometimes kick you for it).
