The LATEST vista verision seems to break continuum....

Hey guys' date=' I just d/l and installed the new build of Windows Vista - like a good little newbie, first prog I test out is continuum...

So I can't get it to work. The server list doesn't show, although I can still select entries (blank ones), neither do the ships. When I click zones I can download and add/remove zones just fine, it's just that the server list doesn't show anything. When I click enter, I just get the flying stars animation with no line that says "connecting to SSCU Trench Wars" or whatever.

Any ideas? I'd be interested to see if anybody else who's messed around with vista RC1 tried out the continuum program, or if anybody else can think of what the deal with the program is. i've tried the vista "program compatibility wizard" with no luck.[/quote']

He also needs to fix Subgame...

Windows 2003 servers will only allow .39pr1 and .39pr3 to connect. SS 1.35 (Bots) and .38 just close or error.

that's not true, that's just for the aero theme which is basicaly just esthetics, you need a card with 128mb memory to run, and if you dont have one, windows will automaticaly turn aero on and off depending your system's hardware.

it sucks enough with aero off the ui is horrible they've ruined the start menu.

I can turn off all the options to make it look like windows 98 again, but really why bother when i can just do the same in xp....
