Haha I could have been L60 like... two months ago but I was putting time between EverQuest and World of Warcraft.

 

Now I'm PvPing and gaining a level like every 3 days or so.

 

Besides... if you saw my gear you'd say wtf?

 

I got two epic pieces on my 49 Mage.

 

Freezing Band a L47 Epic item and Glowing Brightwood Staff w/ +30 Spell Power enchantment.

 

My crit's on Pyroblast are 1000+ and Fireball is usually 900+

 

I am a DPS machine since I am elemental spec.

Dude, I'm a discipline priest and I crit my spells for 1200+ (Without popping any CDs) Level faster

LOL... I level when I want to level. My server is offline at the moment which sucks. And CD's? since when? My talents is what gives me my crit's and that is why I'm a DPS machine. I put out more damage than most Allies can tolerate. I've taken people with 3k hp down to nothing in 3-4 spell castings. 1 Pyroblast, 1 Fireball, 1 FireBlast and a Blast Wave. Dead. Easy gg, pwnt. $$

 

And besides Shadow spec'd priests is ftw. They can heal AND deal out massive amounts of DPS. In fact go to warcraftmovies.com and download a movie by Seksi. Watch it and say omfg. I have it on my HD and it's absolutely intense.

 

As for myself being a Mage.... eh I can duo most classes by myself. Sheep one, kill one. Kill the other. Easy gg I win. And I will be leveling to 50 as soon as my server is back online got a lot to do but eh, I plan on making the most out of it.

Hmm this thread degraded into geek talk. Anyway I'm only posting because D1 mentioned my name and someone else mentioned counter strike, which I play every now and then. Moaning about CS:S:

- You can only spray once, previous sprays get removed.

- No more shooting through every single wall.

- Flashbangs effect you even if you look away.

- A lot easier than 1.6.

- If you buy too fast it's actually equivalent to the throw weapon key (grr).

- When you start crouching behind a crate you can still get headshotted, since everyone else sees you crouch a second later.

- Really loud sound when you pull the knife out.

- Rebuy doesn't buy full armor.

- Jumping no longer allowed during freeze time.

- Walls near the bomb flash white when it is ticking.

- You can't see your own shadow.

Wow, that's a lot of reasons not to play source, in addition to the fact it's an uber resource hog.

It is? Runs fine for me (although I'm not on max settings). My current computer is even a lower spec than my previous one, which I played 1.6 on. Hmm, sometimes a map loads with purple checkerboard textures, but alt-tabbing fixes that.
