saintdev Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 I can't launch Continuum, whenever I try to start it, nothing happens. Yes I've read the FAQ, I don't have any anti-spyware, anti-virus or similar installed. I've tried switching the Continuum compatability modes, even created a new Limited User account, but I still get the same thing.
»SOS Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 Some program is interfering. If you have none of the suspect programs, it must be something else. Trial and error is the only solution - you're on your own, really.
pen expers Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 I don't know if its the same problem as the original post, but Continuum completly stopped working for me after I enabled Data Execution Prevention for all programs in System/Advanced/Performance Settings/DEP. Disabling it made Continuum work again -_- There were also a few other strange programs loaded that I disabled, you can look in Task Manager and Google for the name of any programs that look suspicious for advice.
»Maverick Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Good tip, pen expers. Easier way; Spybot S&D has the functionality to look through the programs that startup on boot and displays information about each one (if it's considered a trojan or not).
Instant Ramen Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I've been playing the halo zone quite often lately and for some reason today (9/11) Halo wouldn't appear as a green zone. Can you please tell me how to get it working? (I tried downloading it again.

Halo is having some leadership issues, right now I believe you can play if you download the zone SST Halo.

This would probably be a good one to add to the FAQ. Thanks pen expers!
