Hey guys this is Drizzit back fromt he dead. I am working on getting Super Fortress back up and will be dedicated to working on it. I was the original owner with Jonus when we had 30-40 peopled edicated in the zone. I was wondering if there was any Host out there that was reliable with very little down time and lag?

Don't listen to these fools who say they'll host you, they're all running DSL or cable. Contact Death+ (SSCI), Gameplay (SSCI-A for ASSS), SVS/Testtube (SSCC) or Altec (SSCB). They all run dedicated servers with ssc access. If you're zone is good enough, they'll host it and you won't have to worry about having your zone hosted by some kiddie on a win xp home machine that sits in their bedroom.

PS: I am an Admin of SSCI, I only maintain the zones, keep them up and happy. It is up to Death+ if your zone gets hosted by SSCI/SSCI-A.

Hey dont judge my server before you know its spec. My server runs Flabby.tv and getsubspace.com It has 100mb connection. My server runs subgame and ASSS on linux. The server is located on the west coast so will be a bit laggy for euros Im from uk and it averages 180 ping, which is kinda high really.

 

if you can get SSC or/and a reliable east coast host thats much much more preferable to my option.

Eh, the server we got for SSCB west has decent pings for euros, and good for aussies too. Typically why the West Coast was a hot spot for the larger zones, because it caught more Aussies then the rest have. Central US is also a good spot to raise a zone too.

I wonder how well ASSS hosting is going nowadays, excuse me for being out of date, I actually have a Unix Server, No downtime, on a 100mbit, located in Dallas, Texas, im sure i can help out ASSS people..
