Technique Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 In average, how many people play continuum in one day? This includes all zones.
Steigerwald Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 average of 1007.8 at the moment we speak. keep in mind this doesnt include zone bots or gay spec ASSS. http://stats.17thparallel.com/
Hakaku Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I think he means the number of unique players that play in an entire day (not the average number of players online)...
Steigerwald Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 i tried. hope i helped. that is the only source of accurate information. i assume that the users counts logins. not actual IPs or unique players.
Samapico Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 if , in average, there are 1000 players online at any given time...and in average, a player plays for... say 3 hours (which is probably too much)it would mean that ( 24 / 3 ) * 1000 = 8000 different players logged on that daywow...for an average play time of 2 hours, that would be 12000 players... hmm... but in these 1000 online players, there might be like... 50 bots... and 150 afk players... so... 8000 could be more realistic
Steigerwald Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 50 bots would only cover trenchwars, if that
XDOOM Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 50 bots would only cover trenchwars, if that Yeah, I wonder if that estimate is a little high ... I'd be interested to know the real numbers though. Heck, i think this would be a beter estimate In about 1 day since the scorereset there has been 7000 total players playing. Now, this is a slight overestimate on the number of people, because players would enter multiple zones so they would be counted multiple times, so a fair estimate, especially to exclude bots and such, would be closer to 5500 players on average play the game.
